samenvatting: Recent antitrans discourses have critiqued trans masculinity in particular as a site of social panic and contagion for proto-trans adolescents. In extreme cases, this is framed as a seduction. Turning 'seduction' from a social danger to a benefit, this essay theorizes masc4masc t4t erotics as a type of contagious gendering. The authors discuss the coming into identity that takes place via desire for trans people, including a sexual urge toward or attraction to people who look like the person one wants to be. They examine the cultural representations of ftm4ftm erotics, and what it means to think about these relationships now, in the face of their new emergence as cultural threat. The authors make a close reading of 2000s-era erotica and pornography to argue that Daddy/boy and group sex dynamics can be read as gender labor, affective and intersubjective work that produces gender and that in t4t erotics works within a framework of differentiated reciprocity. The article concludes by gesturing toward future possibilities for trans masc 4 trans masc politics and pleasures.

samenvatting: Latin American trans* masculine individuals have often been erased from public discourse, both within their societies and within trans studies. On the one hand, within the region, it is frequent to hear that trans* masculinities are invisible. This invisibility or, rather, this erasure of our subjectivities, is directly related to the fact that trans* masculine identities are often not recognized as such and are thus disregarded (Álvarez Broz 2017; Fernández Romero, Torres, and Lenzi 2021). This situation can be attributed both to anti-trans discourses from conservative and progressive sectors, including trans-exclusionary radical feminists (TERFs), and to some sectors that consider themselves allies of a "trans* movement" yet do not address its plurality. Cissexist historical narratives have often also overlooked certain aspects of our histories that are crucial for understanding our biographies and our community-building and political practices.

samenvatting: The present thesis has investigated the relational constitution of gender/sex/sexuality within Dutch cisgender-transgender relationships. This has been done through a discussion of cisgender-transgender relationships and their existence within broader social norms/normativity, and bringing these in relation to the concepts of identification and disidentification. In order to investigate these dynamics, five couples from the Netherlands were selected of whom one person could be categorised as a transmasculine individual, and one person could be categorised as a cisgender person. Through qualitative interviews, information was gathered surrounding the couples' relationships, experiences and relations to norms and normativity. Hereby it was found that cisgender-transgender couples relationally constitute and navigate their gender/sex/sexuality, this being both in relation to each other and social norms/normativity, through processes of identification and disidentification. In particular, it has been found that while within the Netherlands labels and categories relating to identity are given much social importance, the couples often actively disidentified with these normative labels and categories. In addition, particular social issues/phenomena were mentioned as being of influence in the construction of norms within the Netherlands that they had to navigate in their gender/sex/sexuality identification and disidentification, namely generational gaps and media representation. Specifically, transnormative media representation and 'older generations' were argued to be factors in the hindrance of transgender acceptance and normalisation within society, while social media and 'younger generations' were argued to bring about progress herein. These findings contribute to the gaps within existing research that have so far lacked in representing existing relationships between cisgender and transgender people that do not consist of violence and suffering. Furthermore, these findings contribute to the gap in research regarding the concept of the Dutch 'hokjesmaatschappij.'

samenvatting: Black transmasculine people are disproportionately affected by a myriad of intersecting stressors including racism (specifically anti-Black racism), sexism, and cissexism. Black transmasculine people are exposed daily to systemic oppression such as transphobia, dehumanization, and violence, making this community more vulnerable to mental health and physical health concerns. These experiences are further compounded by the lack of relevant research about the unique experiences of Black transmasculine people during the COVID-19 pandemic. Aims: Utilizing a critical intersectionality lens and Prilleltensky's psychopolitical validity as guiding frameworks, the present study investigates the need for support and community for Black transmasculine people when navigating anti-Black racism and transphobia during the COVID-19 pandemic. Methods: The researchers integrated intersectionality and Prilleltensky's psychopolitical validity as frameworks paired with the constructivist grounded theory paradigm outlined by Charmaz to analyze data. The researchers co-constructed meaning from participants.' (N = 32) perspectives to provide a theoretical understanding of how Black transmasculine participants' perceived community and support during COVID-19 pandemic. Results: The researchers developed a model of pathways toward community and support. The model suggests two levels: (a) locating awareness of community and support, and (b) integrated action toward community and support. The approaches are integrated from within group actions that can be facilitated from outside the community on micro and macro sociological levels to provide holistic support and community for Black transmasculine people. Discussion: This model extends the current literature on liberation and community psychology regarding the different levels of support for Black transmasculine people. This intervention can provide awareness and insight about working alongside the Black transmasculine community to address their unique needs of support and community. These findings hope to enhance clinical practices and identify strategies to promote wellness among Black transmasculine people.

samenvatting: Phalloplasties are one of the most performed genital surgeries in the treatment of gender dysphoria for transmasculine patients. Urethral lengthening is an essential component of phalloplasties. Few techniques have been described for the creation of this pars fixa urethra. The purpose of this article is to present the Montréal Classification for pars fixa urethral lengthening, to detail the surgical techniques and to report on clinical outcomes. Materials and methods : All patients undergoing phalloplasty from November 2016 to February 2019 were included in this study. Patient demographics, type of surgery and urological complications were recorded. Statistics were performed using student's T-test, Chi-squared test, Fisher's exact test and One-way ANOVA. Patients underwent either type 1, type 2, or type 3 urethral reconstruction. Results: Of the 84 total patients, 45 underwent type 1 lengthening, 28 type 2, and 11 type 3. Eighteen and 33 patients underwent single-stage and two stage anastomosis of the pars fixa to the pars pendulans neourethra, respectively. Thirty-three patients have not had any additional surgeries to date. Post-operative urological complications for immediate anastomosis and two-stage anastomosis were reported in 77.7% and 18.2% of patients, respectively. Conclusions: We propose a classification as well as a description of three types of urethral lengthening techniques. Over the last few years, we have shifted away from single-stage anastomosis and have adopted a two-stage anastomosis technique. Our experience allows us to classify urethral lengthening and to standardize care depending on patient characteristics, leading to excellent results.
